Deja.com
Deja.com archives posts to Usenet, including the
alt.books.stephen-king newsgroup. There have been a huge
number of posts mentioning "Riding the Bullet", discussing
it, quoting it (sometimes in its entirety), saying where
to download it (websites, other binary newsgroups), etc.
A quick power search to get you started:
http://www.deja.com/=dnc/[ST_rn=ps]/qs.xp?ST=PS&svcclass=dnyr&QRY=&defaultOp=AND&DBS=1&OP=dnquery.xp&LNG=ALL&subjects=riding+the+bullet+rtb&groups=alt.books.stephen-king&authors=&fromdate=&todate=&showsort=score&maxhits=25
Deja.com does not archive binary posts but it does archive
text. "Riding the Bullet" was posted in text form at least
once, in direct violation of copyright law. Regardless, I
am going to provide a link to that article here for historical
reasons. I don't know how long it will remain archived.

Requesting it
Don't. This post is meant to answer the numerous questions
asking/demanding "Riding the Bullet". It contains more than
enough resources for you to go and get it for yourself.
Posting it
Don't. For a number of reasons. It's already been posted;
it is a waste of bandwidth to continually repost it when it
is already available; it is a violation of the group's
charter to post binaries in a non-binary group; it is a
violation of copyright law.
If you really feel that you must satisfy the cravings of
everyone who keeps requesting it, email the file to each one
of them personally.
Discussing it
That is always welcome. Post away.
