• Required?: No.
• Compressed?: Never.
• Description: Possibly a versioning system, not sure.
• Format: Single byte, 01 in every case.
• Notes: I'm completely guessing that this is versioning - I'm only going on the filename and the single byte in each case...
• Adikted support: If it is a versioning system, it's easy to support - just increment the byte every time the map is written. I'll leave it for now though, as it's unlikely to be useful.
